I have a couple of first cleansing options right now, and Rohto Mentholatum is at the top of my list to use each night. I’ve never used their oil cleansers before, so I’m excited to share with you guys my experience trying out this product for the first time! Infused with hyaluronic acid, it provides a hydrating boost while cleansing, leaving my skin feeling refreshed and soft. It's gentle to your delicate eye area and eyelashes and is also effective at removing the most stubborn of mascaras. I don’t see any fragrance in the ingredients list (but I’m not a cosmetic chemist), yet the oil has a very pleasant light scent.

Gokujyun Oil Cleansing contains gentle-on-skin ingredients such as pure olive oil, and moisturizing agents such as two types of hyaluronic acid (including super hyaluronic acid) for a mild and hydrating cleanse without a taut after-feel. This well known Japanese oil cleanser is loved by many for its gentle way of cleansing impurities, oil, sunscreens and makeup. The first was their highly raved Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion which I had similarly raved about in my blog.Hada Labo Gokujyun Oil Cleansing is a highly effective Japanese cleansing oil formulated with olive oil and two types of hyaluronic acid to keep your skin moisturized.

I’ve noticed that my lashes feel very conditioned after I use this oil cleanser and also it’s helped with the acne and texture on my face. All you do is take a few pumps of the cleansing oil into your dry palms and rub it gently all over your dry face and neck to break down skincare, makeup or any product buildup. It uses a combination of mild cleansing agents (palmitic acid, peg-20 glyceryl triisostearate) and should be able to cleanse the skin gently.And if you end up loving this oil as much as I do, the brand sells refill packs, which helps reduce the need for new plastic pump bottles. But because of how light the oil is and how gentle it is, I definitely think that anyone, even those with oily skin, can use it and should try out! Gently massage it all over your face and eye areas in circular motions to gently remove dirt, makeup and sunscreen. The Japan-based company acquired US company Mentholatum in 1988 and now owns a number of well-known brands, including Haba Labo, OXY, Acnes, Rohto Eye Drops, Mentholatum, Lipice and Sunplay.
