I’m panicking that I won’t make it, and they’re literally about to close the door when I finally arrive at the gate. Some sex, traumatized characters, murder, twists, creepy lighthouse steward, ghosts, hidden away captive…it’s a lot aka dramatic AF.I didn’t get why Enzo was so pissed at Sawyer for stealing his identity and opening a new credit card. Enzo Vitale is one sexy beast and the fact that he speaks Italian AND swims with sharks really just takes him to the next level. Now I may be slight desensitized, but I didn’t find this book as dark as the trigger warning made it seem. I mean it's not a bad book considering it's just them arguing and f*cking on repeat with near to no plot but whyy Enzo is so ridiculous omg.

after he tracks her down, he tricks her into believing that he has no idea what she did and convinces her to come on a cage diving exhibition with sharks. I loved the plot, the story, the characters and how imperfect they are and of course, the writing style and the flow of the book. I know sex sells, but there is such a thing as overkill, and this book definitely fits that bill; and how on earth two people can be continually attracted to one another when they have a bone-deep hatred and are terribly mean to each other, is beyond me.

However, the level of raunchy language throughout the book is extreme and doesn’t feel needed in some aspects of the book. Simon looks like he’s lived his life very thoroughly, and I want to know what led him to this bus stop, giving a strange girl a tattoo on a Tuesday afternoon. I raise my brows, wondering why he would carry this stuff with him, but glad that he’s at least using unused needles. When she's not bathing in the tears of her readers, she's watching paranormal shows and wishing she was a mermaid.
