About this deal

He’s built using the standard Minimate body, with a hair piece and piece representing the bottom of his coat.

For extra care please supervise your cats while playing and do not give to children under 3 years old. Like all the others in the set, the Bride is built on the standard Minimate body, with additions for her hair and dress. These four were released as a set in the second series of Universal Monsters Minimates, along with the Dracula set.The body is more basic, but the application is clean, and the palette fits with how the character should look.

She’s 2 ½ inches tall and she features 14 points of articulation, though most of the leg articulation has been restricted by her dress. There’s a respectable likeness on the face, so it’s pretty clear which version of the character it is. Last year, I took my first look at Diamond’s Universal Monsters Minimates with the Dracula boxed set; this year I’ll be taking a look at the line’s Frankenstein set.

They even seem to be somewhat mimicking Hasbro’s pinless joints, at least for the knees; the elbows still have visible pins. There is a good range of motion on most of the joints, and the tolerancing seems to be pretty decently handled. In addition to the Buck, the Monster features unique pieces for his head, hands/forearms, and his feet.Turning off the personalised advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive. While it lacks some of the more lifelike touches that future Sideshow figures have, it’s very clean and features some really great detail work. Just as Frankenstein’s Monster is a man of many parts, this set comes with exclusive parts that make it a true collector piece. On top of that, a lot of the Universal stuff is older releases, which don’t tend to need very timely reviews.

Ideal Scare Cycles Frankencycle, knock-off glow in the dark Frankie, custom Franks by Monsterforge and Mr.Most people know Mego as the premiere company that created 8″ scale action figures in the ’70s, but there were other companies making figures in this scale. Jada sent Robo a set of these figures and there was enough in the video to pique my interest and I decided to try one out with The Bride of Frankenstein.
