This is my first pitch and first impressions video, due to showers and the threat of torrential rain I kept this first review short and sweet.

Attaching the inner is pretty simple, at the foot end attach two hooks at the bottom then toggles, same with the entry end.This was a really useful addition to our tent, it gave us a porch to keep all our food, shoes and belongings dry. I was not rushing and also stopped to take some photos while pitching, so I would say that next time I pitch up it will probably take about 20 minutes.

All in all, I'd say it offers better value for money than many competitive products costing a lot more – particularly those designed to attach to campervans. I am 6ft 6 in height and one of the biggest problems I have when camping is the sleeping area is too short. This shelter is so easy to use, we will certainly be making use of it on many more camping trips and I also plan to make use of it in our garden at home. Having now had my hands on this Coleman Fastpitch event shelter, I can confirm that this is a really well made product. We took the Coleman Fastpitch event Shelter with us to Kettlewell campsite whilst we were testing the Eurohike Rydale 500 tent.Reviews are the reason you are here, and they’re unquestionably the most important factor we can use to help us choose a product when you’re not able to test the product for yourself. These are not traditional and have a clip which is difficult to remove and almost impossible to reclip when under strain and certainly without nipping your skin and fingers.

It has a little pocket at the front for bits, plus a hanging loop over the doorway although kept clunking my head on that.

Whether you’re planning a last minute family camping trip on a campsite or a remote wild camping spot, your tent is your portable home-from-home. I do think we were fortunate with both the weather and location but if you are looking for an occasional tent for the odd night away and don’t want to break the bank, it’s okay.
