About this deal

There's also a neat interactive component which allows the viewer to remix the audio on four of the scenes from the movie - “Welcome to Fight Club”, “Angel Face's Beating”, “The Crash” and “Kudzu Vine Speech”. The score is provided by techno-wizards The Dust Brothers and they've really outdone themselves here. The featurette A Hit in the Ear: Ren Klyce and the Sound Design of Fight Club follows, which also includes the ability to tinker with the audio of four different scenes from the film. Daylight scenes were shot on Kodak EXR 100T and Vision 250D film, while the majority of night scenes were shot on ‘faster’, grainier Vision 500T.

Adapted from Chuck Palahniuk's novel, David Fincher's drama explores themes of masculinity and violence in contemporary society. They find their release from the prison of reality through underground fight clubs, where men can be what the world denies them. The 1999 transfer is framed so that on the rear of the Ford police car on the left of the frame you see only about two thirds of the Ford logo above the tail-light and nothing to the left of it. There's also a lot of interesting trivia, such as how the “cold breath” from the ice cave scene was a surplus CGI effect from 'Titanic' which the producers decided to use! You get the theatrical trailer and teaser trailer, as well as an unused “The Eight Rules Of Fight Club” piece that was finished just for this disc.

One of the most impressive sequences, for me, was always the “plane crash” sequence and on this release it is simply stunning.

I long for a deeper making of, but this disc has enough bonus materials to make up for this brief piece. On the whole this BD release is a whole lot clearer, sharper and better defined than the previous DVD release. Based on a reader suggestion, I decided to take a look at the various home video versions of Fight Club that are available. While the roles these actors played were smaller parts, they were vital to the film, and were played with skill and energy. Fight club was photographed by Jeff Cronenweth, a then hot and upcoming Cinematographer who until that point hadn’t shot a major feature, but did have the advantage of being Bladerunner cinematographer Jordan Cronenweth’s son. We will introduce you exclusively to Newpay finance products provided by NewDay Limited under this Introducer Appointed Representative arrangement. There's a lot of worthwhile content here, which provides background information on how the entire movie was put together.

Starting up an illegal Fight Clubs to provide an outlet for his aggression and frustration (and to potentially cure his insomnia), it's not long before “Jack” (Norton) and his new best friend, Tyler Durden (Pitt), realise that their lives, and their club, are rapidly spiralling out of control. There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data.

Jack’s Condo- You can video from the location scout or principle photography with this sequence, and audio for the location scout is available. This one has several long gaps of silence, but when the two were speaking, they had some interesting things to say.
