As you will be aware, CITB SSC and CSCS have stipulated that for these two qualifications ‘learners must demonstrate relevant verifiable experience and competence in their occupational area’. NVQs are competence-based qualifications, they are a recognition of the skills, knowledge and experience that you already have.
