About this deal

In fifth grade, my teacher set us up with pen pals from a different school. Thinking I was a girl, with a name like Misha, the other teacher paired me up with her student, Ryen. My teacher, believing Ryen was a boy like me, agreed. The story continues with Masen’s internal struggle about revealing his true identity to Ryen. He’s torn between confessing and fearing that she’ll hate him once she discovers the truth. He sneaks into her house early in the morning, contemplating how to tell her.

I won’t ruin it for you but there’s a cool plot twist on who the Punk is. I’ll only say that. Punk 57 Book Review – What I Hated about Punk 57: *Maybe Some Spoilers* I remain silent. I’m getting a little pissed she’s acting clueless. Seven years and this is how you want to meet, Angel? This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places, and incidents are the product of the author’s imagination or are used fictitiously. Any resemblance to actual events, locales, or persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental. And here you thought that Ryen and Misha were bad. Wait till you hear about Tyler (is it Tyler? I forgot now. Yes. He’s this insignificant) and Lyla.

What makes The Deal the perfect read for after Punk 57 is that it also has this enemies to lovers theme where it starts off as playful hate and then turns into something passionate and smutty. Misha and Ryen have been pen-pal friends for 7 years. They’d never met and promised to never meet not to ruin their relationship. However, they live only 50km apart, in small towns, and Misha is part of a band, that promotes an event in a place close to Ryen’s town. To his surprise, she’s there. She doesn’t recognize him but he does. He doesn’t say anything, though. Dane sweeps in, stopping her, and turns to me, scolding under his breath, “Dude, why are you looking at her like she slapped your grandma? Damn.”

Also some of the conflict in the book might be a little contrived/cliche/predictable. Didn't bother me in this circumstance, but might bother others. Ok, so…” Dane claps his hands together. “I heard you say you needed to eat something Lady and the Tramp style with someone, right?”Punk 57 is absolutely not appropriate, actually, the only good part is the 18+ scenes. Is Punk 57 a bully romance? But I’ve forced books before and they flop every time. It’s not worth it. Readers always know when an author wasn’t connecting. So just to set the record straight from our last argument, Kylo Ren is NOT a baby. You understand? He’s young, impulsive, and he’s related to Anakin and Luke Skywalker. Of course he whines! How is this a surprise? And he’ll redeem himself. I’ll bet you on it. Name your price.

And, the first chapter is really good. Misha is nice, interesting, and mysterious. Most of these bad boy guys are as*holes and this is different with him. He cares about his sister, he’s in love with this girl, he goes to this party to support his friends, he’s in a band. The setting of the first chapter is also really cool. He has great chemistry with his friends, and his personality is nice. Ryen and Misha were pen pals by mistake. Over the years, they become not only the best pen pals but the best of friends, always looking forward to a new letter from each other. Out of all of the books, BULLY was my favorite to write. I slip my hand between her and the bed and squeeze her breast, placing one last kiss on her cheek. “Thanks, Pom Poms. I’ll see you at school.” She makes a little growl in her throat, but her eyes remain closed, and I laugh to myself as I clean up and get dressed. Ten smiles, and Manny seems to relax a little. He doesn’t answer, but I’ll call him later. He doesn’t trust us, and I don’t want to push him right now. Everyone gets busy eating. J.D. steals food off everyone’s trays, and I take out my phone and go to text Misha. I hope he doesn’t mind getting asked to prom. But then I think better of it and go to Google to find his Facebook. I’ve read so much about his life, and now I’d like to see it, I think. I’m guessing the last thing he wants to talk about is prom, but I’d like to put it out there sooner rather than later for him to think about at least. But as I type in Misha Lare Grayson into the search engine and scroll to find what I need, I’m suddenly lost in more information than I can handle. My stomach sinks, and my heart races. Oh, my God. Everything was perfect about this friendship/relationship. That was until Misha got the opportunity to meet Ryen. This was when he realized that his dream girl was really everything he hated.
