Importantly, everything that makes the Saturn V an icon of time, history and design is captured within 21309 NASA Apollo Saturn V – and the soon to be 92176 NASA Apollo Saturn V. I might consider adding additional USB connectors or longer cable connectors between stages, when I get around to displaying this properly - as each stage is currently joined together, and makes it easy to accidentally knock other pieces over while trying to place each one. It arrived today and although the listing clearly states 92176, and the photo in the listing shows the box for 92176, I received set 21309. Light My Bricks products contain small parts and batteries that may represent a choking hazard for small children.

As a completed model, it comes in at an impressive size and weight, with the scale in particular used to the designers’ advantage to capture a number of more subtle changes in texture, direction and detail across the rocket’s bodywork. Properly shaped find molded in titanium metallic color with correct decals should have been a required detail. I did add a LMB dimmer board to the mix, because I found the LEDs to be a bit too bright for my taste, especially because of the flickereffect which could be distracting at times in my dimly lit office/hobbyroom while watching TV.Everyone gives it great reviews, but I can only assume that is because they don’t take the time to really look at the real thing.

I’ve read that 21309 sells for more because it was the original production model, but from what I’ve seen, 92176 is often listed for more.
